Brother Jim
“I was a regular on the scene in the ’90s, playing at places like Sunnyside Up, Freshly Squeezed, WOSP, Sleepwalkers, and many others, while also holding residencies at Vibrance and Self Indulgence.
I stepped away from raving shortly after the millennium and drifted out of the scene. Then, by chance, a few years ago, I was put on the guest list for the Summer Love Festival near Gatwick, where I bumped into an old DJ mate. Facebook’s algorithms did their thing, and before I knew it, I was back on the decks, playing at Strawberry Sundae. That’s where I met Sam and Jules, the creators of Solos—and the rest is history.
I have found my rave family.
My Tribe.
One Tribe!”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
Since joining the Solos and subsequently becoming part of the team, my social life has been transformed beyond belief.
Playing at our own One Tribe event—where our wonderful Solos community comes together in one place—means so much to me. The love in the room was tangible.
There are no strangers at our events, only friends you haven’t met yet.

Smithy Chris Smith
Having played at some of London’s finest raves, both past and present, Smithy’s passion and charisma have earned him residencies at some of the city’s biggest events.
Staying true to his motto, “Not the same old record bag,” and seamlessly blending digital and vinyl, Smithy knows how to work a crowd. Some say he’s different—Smithy says, “Just like Frank Sinatra, I’m doing it my way.”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
I absolutely love playing for the Solos at the ONE TRIBE events! They’re such a passionate bunch of ravers, and the love in the room is immense.

Duncan Disorderly
Duncan’s career, spanning over 30 years, began at the very club he now promotes—Strawberry Sundae.
Known for his smooth mixing style and encyclopedic knowledge of classic ’90s dance music, he effortlessly moves between genres.
A maverick both on and off the decks, Duncan certainly knows how to throw a party!
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
“I won’t miss a Solo event! The concept is brilliant and such a positive addition to the scene. It brings me joy to have been there from the start. The music and the people couldn’t be more up my street!”

Simon Holmes
“I fell in love with rave music and culture in the early ’90s, buying records and making music before I was even old enough to go out dancing to it—and I haven’t stopped since! Like many of us, discovering the Solos and watching the scene grow stronger after the COVID lockdowns gave me a second wind, and I’m loving raving more than ever.
Old-school hardcore was my first love, closely followed by house, progressive, trance, and techno—I love moving between them all. A dreamy, emotional feel runs through my music, and my sets always offer something unique, featuring unreleased or specially made tracks.”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
“One Tribe feels like the closest thing to being back in the ’90s without a time machine! Pure positive vibes, an up-for-it crowd, and the best atmosphere around—plus the chance to play for the same friends I go raving with. I love the multi-genre concept; no other event does this while giving its DJs free rein to play whatever they want. Somehow, the DJ hive mind comes together and effortlessly programs a day and night of perfect music, capturing the spirit of rave across house, trance, breakbeat, and hardcore.”

Irish Pete
With over 25 years in the UK DJ scene, Peter—formerly known as Irish Pete—has been a true pioneer. His journey began at the legendary underground house rave Sunnyside Up, which introduced icons like Tony De Vit, Tall Paul, Graham Gold, and John 00 Fleming to the masses. Known for his uplifting riffs, thumping basslines, and signature female vocals, his talent quickly gained recognition.
Peter’s skill caught the attention of Kim Williams, earning him a 22-year residency at Club Rub, one of London’s most notorious fetish clubs. His reputation led to bookings at other major fetish events, though his loyalty remained with Club Rub.
His career reached international heights when Doh Boy Recordings flew him to Vancouver to headline alongside Ferry Corsten and DJ Sakin. His global reach expanded to Hong Kong, South Africa, Ibiza, and the Caribbean, where he headlined Caribbean House Evolution.
A legend of the underground scene, Peter has played at nearly every iconic UK club before many sadly closed due to regulations. Yet, his passion remains unshaken. From closing the main room on NYE for Hed Kandi at Qube Project London to playing Scala for UNLEASHED, 2025 promises another exciting year as he rejoins Orange Nation with a residency at Fire for Sex Circus.
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
“For me, having DJd all over the world for 29 years , playing at One Tribe events encapsulates everything that I love about music and the scene it creates . The DJs play cross genre old skool sets on vinyl (in the main room ) and digital in room 2 . The crowd are there to dance , smile , hug and be happy with no other agenda . The vibe is amazing and there isn’t a phone in sight as the crowd are too busy getting lost in the music and having the time of their lives. London needs more events like this . Irish Pete

I started DJing in 1997 at a bar in Camden Town and got my radio break in 2003 on Y2K, where I stayed for a few years. In 2007, I moved to Shine 879, hosting three shows a week—breakfast, drive time, and more.
I’ve played at some of London’s biggest clubs and in surrounding counties, including Ministry of Sound, Egg Club, Carling Academy, and O2 Centre, as well as at car and music festivals.
Currently, I’m a resident DJ at Kashmir Lounge in Amsterdam, the legendary old-school night Strawberry Sundae, My Love & Tech This House, and I’ve played for Raindance, Pure Old Skool, and Sunshine Daze, to name a few.

Happy raving! 🎶🔥
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
I popped into the last One Tribe event, and it was going off! I thought, “I’ve got to DJ at the next one,” and here I am—proud as punch!

David Kelly
My passion for house and rave music began in 1986 when I bought Jack Your Body on vinyl—a love for records that continues to this day. I started DJing at parties in Manchester from 1989 onwards before moving to London in 1993, where I raved and played at underground events throughout the ’90s.
I currently host a monthly show on Report2Dancefloor Radio and hold a residency at the Old Skool nights at the infamous Warehouse Unit in Alfreton, Derbyshire, specializing in strictly vinyl sets from 1988 to 1992.
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
I love playing for the Solo crew—it’s such a great, friendly crowd of like-minded people from all over the country, united in their passion for bringing back the original Acid House vibe.

Phoebe G
Raver from ’88 to ’94, with a long break until ’21.
House music runs through my veins.
I love being behind the decks or on the dancefloor, spreading love and joy with everyone around me.
Currently hosting my Twisted Tuesday show every Tuesday (the clue’s in the name, I guess!) from 17:00 to 19:00 on Audioforce Radio.
Big love to all the crew! 🫶💖🫶
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
The freedom to play the music I love to an audience of friends—some of whom may not have heard my style before—and seeing them dance, laugh, and have an amazing time because of it.

DJ- Chilli
Chilli’s DJ career dates back to the early ’90s and continued throughout the ’00s, playing, promoting, and working at some of the most iconic house and dance music events in London and across the globe.
His specialty is keeping the vibe alive and the dancefloor packed. He has regularly played alongside legends like Alex P and Brandon Block at the one and only Turnmills and Pacha London, with sets at Privilege Ibiza World Tour and Miss Moneypennies events, to name just a few. A true grafter both on and off the decks, he has been the driving force behind many successful club nights in the UK and overseas, holding packed residencies in Koh Samui, Thailand, and regularly playing at the world-famous Full Moon Party before taking the house vibe as far as Australia.
Embracing all forms of house music—from funky and uplifting to deep tech and old-school classics—his sets are always a bass-heavy, crowd-pleasing mix. He is currently working with major dance music brands such as One Tribe, ProMo Club, Essence Club, HiCircuit, and Dance Nation UK, helping promote music, artists, and events through his digital media company, Promotive Creations.
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
I love playing at One Tribe events as they are always full of ravers of different ages, backgrounds and areas. I love the spirit and the freedom and the happy friendly vibe of everyone and seeing everyone having a great time. The other DJs and music is always spot on and even the venue and bar staff are very quick and friendly as well. 110 percent always from One Tribe!!

Johny Boy
New to DJing but not to raving, I’m discovering that experiencing both sides of the decks is truly magical.
Returning to the scene after so many years and seeing it still thriving as the happiest, most welcoming community has been incredible. Now, having the chance to play for people is the most amazing bonus.
Why do I DJ? Because I want to see people smiling, happy, and dancing to the music I love—that’s all I want from DJing, 100%.
Peace, Love, Unity… and Having Fun! 🎶✨
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
I love playing at ONE TRIBE because it’s the people I love, the music I love, and pure happiness from start to finish.
It’s home!

Chris Johnson
“I moved to Miami and held a 10+ year residency at GrooveJet starting in 1995, playing alongside Luis Diaz, Edgar V, Padilla, Stryke, Bruce Wilcox, Thomas Penton, and more. I had a live mix show that I presented on Friday nights on 90.5 FM, WVUM, and a Thursday night show on THE WOMB radio, which ran through the ’90s and 2000s. Later on, I played at Club Space as a regular guest and shared the decks with many top DJs, including Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Carl Cox, Keoki, and Paul Van Dyk. I continue to enjoy working all over the US and London as a DJ and administrator for the amazing family, One Tribe.”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
One Tribe brings a unique energy—you can feel it in the atmosphere from the moment you arrive, and it only grows stronger until it’s time to step on stage and spin for the crowd.
I’ve been DJing for 38 years, and the love, the vibe, and the feeling at One Tribe are unmatched.
By far, the best party I’ve ever been a part of!

Charlene From Neighbours
“Charlene From Neighbours is a multi-genre, Brighton-based DJ dedicated to bringing the ultimate energy to her sets. Always playing with passion, she wants the dancers, the ravers, and anyone in her audience to have the best time. Goosebumps, singing your heart out—Charlene From Neighbours wants to give you a set to remember. From dropping a classic disco track to some stomp-worthy hard house, anything goes.”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
“I had the best time playing at One Tribe. The first event was brilliant. I ended up playing for multiple hours – the energy from the crowd was amazing and there was a great buzz about the whole day/night. The 2nd event, it was taken up a notch! The Original Solo Old Skool Ravers know how to party and bring a great energy with them – being able to play once again was epic. So much PLUR in the venue and I feel extremely grateful to have been part of it so far.”

Steve Proctor
Steve Proctor has been DJing since 1979, and he’s proud to have been involved with two of the biggest music and youth subcultures, New Romantic and Acid House, over the 46 years he’s been playing. His passion has always been for electronic music, and it’s been a joy to share that passion for so many years. He was an original Shoom resident, as well as the headlining DJ for the original Sunrise raves. Also, as Technodelia, Precinct 13, and The Better Days Project, he made some of the earliest UK House and Dance records, and he’s proud to have been one of the original remixer/producers in the late ’80s and ’90s.
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
I’m very proud to play for Solos and their wonderful ‘One Tribe’ events because of the passion and dedication of everyone involved. This is especially demonstrated by the care and unity they show for each other, particularly for those who are brave enough to come along on their own, knowing they are in a safe space with genuinely decent people.

DJ Big Cheif
“I started off playing on various pirate radio stations across London in the early ’90s, soon moving on to the warehouse and club scene, spinning old-school breakbeat vinyl. Now a digital DJ, I am a resident for Delta House and House Music Radio, while also enjoying playing at some of the top venues and events across the UK and France.
‘Raving and Misbehaving.'”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
It’s always a pleasure to play at One Tribe—the old-skool rave with an electric vibe!

DJ Wizkid
“Wizkid has been involved with the underground music scene for over 34 years. Back in the day, he was a local MK DJ and worked for Evil Eddie Richards’ DJ Agency, Dy-na-mix. He toured the UK with artists including Joey Beltram, Richie Hawtin, Moby, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Lenny Dee, Outlander, and Digital Boy.
He worked with promoters including Evil Ed’s Outer Limits and Chris Paul when he set up the Orange at the Rocket and Hippodrome. He continued DJing locally in the MK area through the ’90s and into the 2000s.
After a break, he returned to DJing in 2018 and has been a resident DJ on Fantasy FM for the last six years, playing twice a week for the London pirate radio station. He has played at many Fantasy events and for Dirty Stereo, Rave Days, We Are Housework, Ministry of Breaks, CentreForce Tenerife, and is a regular DJ at venues such as the Buckle Bunker in Essex. He plays regularly at Chalkie White’s We Are Family and has made three appearances on the Danny Lines Hall of Fame show on Centreforce. He was also the support DJ to The Criminal Minds during the second half of 2023, playing at several events until the unfortunate death of DJ Spatts last December.”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
I love playing to real ravers and solos are the real deal, but
more important for me is what the group stands for and how it’s helping ravers to get out
and enjoy themselves, even if they don’t have anyone to go with. Old School raves were a
very special time and giving everyone a taste of that era is a priviledge.

DJ Turner
“A passionate DJ with five years of experience, DJ Turner is deeply rooted in the house and old-skool rave scene. His love for the genre began after his cousin, Dave Wicks, introduced him to his first rave, sparking a lifelong connection to the vibrant rhythms of the underground rave world. As one of the younger faces in the old-skool house rave scene, DJ Turner is on a mission to keep the spirit of classic rave culture alive. With a blend of skills and a deep knowledge of the genre, he’s dedicated to proving that today’s youth can still embrace and elevate the sounds of the past. Watch out for his sets as he brings fresh energy to the timeless beats that shaped the scene.”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
“Because they are my unrelated, one-of-a-kind family, everyone at ONE TRIBE and the Solo Old Skool Ravers group has welcomed me with open arms. They are the friendliest bunch of people I’ve met, and they’ve given me the chance to showcase my talent, as well as more opportunities to hone my skills on a bigger stage. I couldn’t be more thankful to everyone—I love everyone I’ve met. So, thank you all!”

DJ X_odus
“I have been in love with music pretty much since I was able to walk! The first record I bought was ‘Ring My Bell’ by Anita Ward in 1979, and from then on, I was hooked on vinyl. The advent of New Wave and electronic music totally captivated me, with artists like Gary Numan, The Human League, Giorgio Moroder, and Depeche Mode providing the soundscape for my early teens. The late ’80s introduced me to house music, and many of my friends purchased turntables, so most of my time was spent learning to mix and expanding my vinyl collection, moving through genres from Chicago house to Detroit techno, Belgian techno, rave, and hardcore, where I finally started DJing at a small venue in Worcester Park, eventually graduating to larger raves. As hardcore split into multiple subgenres like jungle and drum & bass, I stopped DJing while continuing to seek out new music. I got into the progressive sounds of Sasha & Digweed, moving into trance and hard house, which is what I now play.”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
I joined the Solo’s group after my friend Kim introduced it to me. It had been a long time since I had been out and as a result, my DJing opportunities were non existent! After being persuaded to go out, I rediscovered my love of the scene, and have since made so many new friends. I have also been honoured to become a DJ for the Solo’s events, which are just so special for all who attend and are involved in!

Martin Dear
Martin Dear has been DJing for over 30 years, with most of that time spent locally in his hometown of Harlow. He co-ran an event called Superfly, which lasted for 20 years, and also founded and ran an event called Old’s Kool, which brought some big names and rave legends to a small-capacity venue. He was also heavily involved in the Dirty House Inc parties and played regularly at the Universoul parties.
In recent years, Martin has gone on to bigger and better things, playing every year for Slip Back in Time in Ibiza. He has also played at events such as Labyrinth, House is a Feeling, Moondance Festival, In the Name of House, Back of Beyond Festival, Smiley Culture, and many more.
Martin made his debut for The Solos at the last One Tribe event.
He has also had radio shows on Electric Radio, Fantasy FM, Unity DAB, and Eruption Radio, and currently hosts a weekly show on House Music Radio every Friday from 4-6 PM.
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
“I love the Solo Ravers group because, without it, I personally might not even still be raving, let alone DJing. What they do for the rave scene—connecting people who still want to go out but have no one to go with—is a beautiful thing.
I’ve met so many people through the Solos that when I played at the last One Tribe, it felt like playing to a room full of friends and family. I can’t wait to do it again.”

John Paul Japes
“Most know me as the photographer with mad shirts and LED glasses, but I’ve also been DJing since 1994. My first break was a residency at Atomics, Maidstone, which led to gigs at Pure Bliss (Grays Inn), Naked (Mars Bar), and the Seduction Weekender, playing alongside top DJs like Graham Gold and Lisa Pin-Up.
I later became a resident at Club Rub and Club Wicked on the London Fetish Scene before stepping away in 2008. In 2021, I returned with gigs at The Social Chill Bar (Maidstone) and KoKo for Peach.
I love all dance music, but my heart is in uplifting house and trance/techno. Years as a resident DJ taught me to read a crowd and craft the perfect set—whether it’s a warm-up or peak-time slot.
Some of my most memorable sets have been at the Seduction Weekender at Vauxhall Holiday Park, Atomics and Powerplay in Maidstone, Peach at KoKo, Naked at Mars Bar/Velvet Rooms, 414 in Brixton, Club Rub and Club Wicked in London, and the Southcoast Weekender in Camber Sands, along with international gigs in Germany, Malta, and Gozo.
Still bringing the energy—see you on the dancefloor! 🎶🔥”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
I’m really looking forward to playing for the Solo’s because they are a supportive bunch of proper nutters with way more energy than myself and I’m hoping to bring something a little bit different to the mix

Jody Maynard
“I’ve been playing dance music since ’91/’92—house, acid, techno, hardcore, breakbeats, and progressive. Old skool/new skool. Vinyl and digital. A tune is a tune!
I currently play on Release Radio with my fortnightly Saturday Sounds show, which I’ve been doing for nearly 7 years now. I love it! I get to play all the records I’ve been collecting for over 30 years, but I also get to play all the latest tracks I’m into.
My style of music leans more towards the harder, underground sound of house, but I also like to keep it uplifting and energetic.
I love playing to an up-for-it crowd, and you won’t find a more “up-for-it” crowd than the Solo ravers.
It’s fantastic to be onboard and truly an honour to be part of the legit rave spirit the Solos embody.
Looking forward to my debut.
Let’s av it!”
Why I love playing @ ONE TRIBE:
One Tribe events really do capture the spirit of Rave. It’s fantastic to be a part of a scene that embodies what raving was all about in the 90s. What Samantha, Julia and the rest of the crew have created via the power of social media is a community of like minded ravers and the One Tribe parties gets us together on the dancefloor.
